"Até debaixo d'água era mais gostoso...
(Sometimes I wish I wrote this thing in Portuguese. Now is one of these moments.)
The Books
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholy remarkable book" and I've finished reading it last week. Next steps: "The DaVinci Code" and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", that I intend to finish before the premiere of the movies.
The Bedroom
Rearranged my table briliantly and got a (how the hell am I goin' to call it in English??) gigantic floor pillow =)
The best place ever, even better...
I'll post some pictures some day.
The Code
Linux, Mozilla Firefox and lots of Free Software is what I run here. Free as in freedom. It's faster, safer, better. Those who say Linux is not for the regular user probably have never run it. Faster, safer, better.
The Games
Pair of Playstation-like USB joypads: US$ 52
Pair of USB extention cables: US$ 8
Spend hours playing heaps of nostalgic NES and SuperNES games with friends: priceless =)
The gay parade
In the beginning it was forbidden. Then it's got tolerated. Now it's normal and I'd better leave before it gets an obligation... It's OK to be OK!
The brand new apparatus
Metalic, small and elegant. Someday I'll post pictures here of my new gourd for making Mate tea.
The Scar

Mostly Harmless...
Last night it was my turn to dream about another girl. Pretty girl, light brown or maybe blonde hair, light eyes, but younger, yes, younger than her, just a little bit, and no big breasts as in her dream. For me it wasn't more than an adventure, some different hugs and kisses, nothing else, but the girl fell in love with me. By the time she was declaring her kinda first-sight love to me, she showed up and I had to introduce them to each other. "This is my girlfriend (yes, I have a girlfriend so stop falling in love with me) and this is just someone I know"...
Weird.
Just this. Perhaps there are some more details, but nothing I can remember right now.
--
Now I have a weekend. Now I have some time to think about me and some cool stuff, to rest for a while and maybe (why not?) to dream a little bit, I mean, dream awake, when I'm really able to do something to make them real...
--
Aaaaaaaaalmost in the middle of The guide! Cool! REALLY cool! But... I'm still in doubt if they can make a really good movie from that. Kinda difficult for its brightness being in each of the heaps of brilliant quotes...

Me, today
The Party
Last week I celebrated my 24th birthday at home with my girl, family and some close friends at home. Perhaps I'll post some pics anytime.
The accents
Worked a lot last week on some improvements to the .br registration system. Basically now brazilians can register .br Internet addresses using all brazilian portuguese characters including accents and c-cedilla.
Addicting to VG again
A couple weeks ago, in a small party we had here in the office, a colleague brought his PlayStation 2 for us to have some fun. I can't really remember when was
the last time I really played any video-game with so much fun.
Following steps:
- install emulators on my Linux system (done!)
- buy a good joypad (done!)
- download heaps of games (done!)
Now I have a joypad pretty similar to the PS2 one attached to one of mine USB ports and 3 nice emulators installed: NES (the memorable 8-bit Nintendo), SuperNES and Sony PlayStation I! Awesome! Tens of games, good playability, very few money invested and I'm back to the VG world!
Friends??
Yes, I miss'em...
She??

(I can't believe I finished another HHG2TG chapter after a long while reading the same pages every once in a while...)

I know it's Sunday and it's dark outside...
...but I'm still in the office.
My friend Marianinha usually asks back "Do you read newspapers on Monday? Sb wrote it on Sunday..."
Now it's my turn: do you register .br domains with "ç", "ã", "ê" and all the other portuguese accents on Monday?? Sb hasn't seen day-light for the past 5 days workin' on it...
